Brightest Diamond Of Mine…
I owe to my mother,
Who tucked me in to keep me warm…
Every night reading me stories,
And nursery rhymes and beautiful songs…
I can still feel her fingers as if,
She is messaging and combing my hair…
While I played with my dolls and teddy bear,
She would put a matching ribbon in my hair…
Somewhere I felt now I grew up with time,
I would not need mom and friends would be fine…
Passed college and entered University with cheers,
I had no time for my mom all these years…
My success shined in her eyes,
With no complains she still stood by my side…
It touched my heart to see her wipe her falling tear,
Time slipped so fast and now I understood her fear,
I had ignored her, never hugged her all these years…
Forgot the shine in my life is because of her…
I owe to my mother for who I am today,
She is the brightest diamond of mine…
